Testimonials Sometimes a corporate team building event can be a little mundane. Not so when Chef Dave is involved. Using his cooking expertise and guidance, our group experienced some hands on examples of team work, cooperation and creative thinking. With our group’s culinary abilities running the gamut from novice to advanced, Dave created an atmosphere that was conducive to collaboration and led to some friendly competition. It was a nice change to work with your teammates outside of the office doing something totally different. Neil, Portland Corporate team-building events are, by design, expected to create new and positive experiences that help the group members to bond through the creation of lasting memories. Our afternoon of working together to prepare a meal was innovative and unique. We worked hard but enjoyed ourselves and we got to know each other outside of our sometimes stressful work environment. Our team is still sharing food stories and reflecting on an afternoon that passed all too quickly. We definitely give both Dave and the time we spent together "a big thumbs up." We worked in pairs to prepare a delicious 3 course meal---and a wonderful dessert. It was clear that a few of us had navigated kitchens and recipes more often than others, but at the same time, we each shared culinary weaknesses and tips to create a meal that tasted as wonderful as it looked.
